Serena Smith (student) – Debate camp was a great way to get a jump start on the debate year! Besides being tons of fun, debate camp was great way to explore the new resolution. Interesting lectures explained topics specific to the debate year as well information that applied to debate in general. The mini tournament at the end of the camp was a good way to get back into the flow of debating for old students and a way for newer students to really understand what debate is about. All in all debate camp was an amazing week that started the debate year out with a bang!

Catherine South (student) – Debate camp was an amazing experience! Having never seen a debate round, I learned so much in those few days. The coaches taught us so much! They immersed us in the resolution, taught us how best to debate, think on our feet, gave us confidence, and made it tons of fun!  Best of all we were given the opportunity to put to practice what we learned in a no pressure environment, with help from our varsity partners and good advice from our judges.
